UFO is one of Gerry Anderson's best series. Filmed in 1969 and 1970, it was his first live-action series using real actors instead of puppets but had all the gadgetry, vehicles and spectacular explosions of his previous series. Set in the then future of 1980, Earth is being visited by hostile and mysterious aliens to harvest human organs to keep their own race alive. Only the brave SHADO (Supreme Headquarters Alien Defense Organization) can stop them. Made for adults rather than children, I first saw it when it was repeated by ITV in 1986/7.
I use the Product Enterprise UFO and SHADO Mobiles. I also use the Dinky Straker's car and other Dinky vehicles. The smaller UFO is a Konami, whilst I also use Konami SHADO Interceptors with my scratch-built SHADO Moonbase and launch craters.
