My favourite era of Doctor Who will always be the 1970s, with Jon Pertwee being my favourite actor in the role. Bursting into colour on the BBC from 1970 onwards, this period of the show is often considered to be when it was at its most inventive in terms of its story-telling and the development of special effects at that time.
My 4 inch high model Tardis came from the Doctor Who board game that was released in the early 1990s. I think the board game itself was lost in one of two house fires at my mother's home in 2001, but the Tardis survived and I kept it. More recently, I bought a series of 6 inch figures and a Tardis to match.
